What is coaching?

Coaching is a series of intentional conversations between a professional coach and a client or a group. Coaching draws out skills and resources, and is more effective than training in many cases because;

  • the client has full ownership of the direction and outcomes
  • coaches spend about 70% of the session listening which gives the client space and time to explore issues
  • coaching leaves clients more confident and self sufficient in managing their own situations and decisions.
